On site the talking happens in one language and the manual is written in another. This glossary sits in that gap: every term here I have used at the foot of a tower or inside a nacelle, with the Turkish equivalent next to it. The definitions come from the work, not from a dictionary.

The ring-shaped face where two sections meet and are bolted together. The most critical place for torque checks.

The reinforced concrete mass that carries the turbine. A machine in the N90 class sits on 500 to 800 m³ of concrete.
